At age 38 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia by a Connective Tissue Disease Specialist. The good news was "FM won't kill me", and the bad news was "there is no cure." Most people with FM "look fine" to others most of the time. I had to retire at age 40, and was awarded benefits for Disability under Social Security at age 40 and still do to this day, 21 Years Now.
